Ok---I DID IT!!!

Well Matasha nominated me for this LIEBSTER award and I told her I didn't think I'd do it because I'm just NOT GOOD at writing things like this!  BUT... I got feeling guilty and caved!  So, this is for you and Nicki too!  Which I'm pretty sure are the only 2 people that will ever read it!!!!

The 5 people I nominate would be Mandi Noel, Lindsey Cardall, Lana Hansen, Ashlee Brasher, and Lacy Susman!  The reason is the same for ALL of them!  I love reading their Blogs!  They are such sweet girls, good Moms, and they Blog about fun, important things and always share GREAT pictures!!!!!   Course I love Matsha's & Nicki's too!!!!  But, they're already "Leiber's"!!!!  Lol!

5 personal things about me are:

{1}   Ok I'm going for RANDOM here!!!   But I have had 3 VERY DETAILED dreams about Heaven, and the 2nd Coming!  I have seen and visited with my Dad, my Paternal Grandmother, and also Matasha's Dads grandparents, Grammy & Bob!  The last one I had left me crying for about 4 days straight!  I dreamed about the 2nd coming and it was SO real!!!!  I'm crying writing this!!!!  It just gives me the chills to think about what I seen and How I FELT!  AMAZING!!!!!  It was a very spiritual experience!

{2}   Random #2!  :)  I am such a tom-boy and dare devil that I will try almost ANYTHING once!!!  I've Bungied, rock climbed, I'm going to sky dive one day, and so on and so forth!!!  BUT!  I absolutely cannot stand, and I'm scared to death of dumb, stupid Pillsbury Biscuit containers that have to POP when you open them!  They should be BANNED!  Amen!

{3}   Like Matasha, I have always LOVED to be around older people!  She talked about how she used to always go visiting the older people that lived by us, which was SO cute by the way!!!  I used to do the same thing!  When I went to my friends homes to play I LOVED to sit and visit with their parents and/or grandparents!!!!  I love their stories, advice, and just sage wisdom!!!  Older people have so much to teach us about ENJOYING life, our loved ones and OURSELVES!!!!!  They amaze and inspire me!

{4}   Ok....this might seem strange but I have such a deep love, respect and FASCINATION with Native American History!  I know it stems from having a "scosh" of Cherokee blood in my veins, but also the way they lived, died, fought for what they wanted, and their wisdom!  They could make anything out of NOTHING!  I have TONS of books that I LOVE to read about their History!  My #1 Hero is Sacagawea!!!  Its a hair embarrassing but when I saw her statue in N. Dakota for the first time I just stood there and cried!!!!   Oh my....  I know!  :)

{5}   Last of all.....   When I was 24 years young I was diagnosed with Endometriosis.  Back then they didn't know a lot about it!  It wasn't too severe in the beginning and I was able to have Matasha!  But immediately after having her, it progressed VERY fast!  A specialist did various tests on me trying to help me so that I could at least have 1 more baby!  He sent me to a Team of Specialists at the U of U Hospital.  The Team was made up of Dr's from all over the world.  I had to stay at the Hospital for quite awhile while they "studied" me.  They tried a couple of new drugs on me,  plus 2 new procedures.  To no avail....  It got so bad they said it looked like someone had splattered black paint ALL over inside of me.  Nothing would help it but a radical Hysterectomy.   That was THE saddest and hardest day of my life.  I felt like I had been stabbed in the heart!  I wanted my baby BOY I kept seeing in my dreams SO bad!  I'm sure it was just "wishful thinking" because of all I was going through,  but I was CONVINCED I was going to get well enough to have my little boy!
Anyway, I was blessed with 3 WONDERFUL step-kids that I loved from the very beginning!  They are just like my own!  I love them dearly!
The Lord blessed me with my lil Matty!  I am SO very grateful that I was able to have her!!!!  She is my GREATEST accompishment! She has always been my "sunshine"!  I sang that song TO her and later on WITH her, all the time when she was little!  And now we sing it to her little Jaiya!  :)  Time marches on!  <3 <3 <3
The Lord lives!  He loves us!  He blesses us in SOOO very many ways!!!  I am grateful for families!!!!  My kids and grandkids are my LIFE!  I'm SO proud of all of them!  I am so blessed to have a good husband and ALL of OUR kids!

I pass the Torch..........  YOUR TURN!
